Marco Simone Golf & Country Club
The 2023 Ryder Cup course northeast of the city — amphitheatre holes, drivable risk-reward par fours, castle above the clubhouse. Visitor access follows the club's current policy.

Parco de' Medici or ring-road alternative
The warm-up round at an established club on Rome's ring, selected by availability at your dates.
We ask each club for tee times when you send your dates. Nothing is confirmed until the club confirms it, and we confirm it with you before you pay.

Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrive, eat, walk
Land from Dubai, check into a hotel around the centro storico — near Piazza Navona or Monti keeps both the golf transfers and the evenings simple. First night is a trattoria and a slow loop past the Pantheon lit up.
- Day 2
The warm-up round
An easing-in round at one of the established clubs on Rome's ring — the Parco de' Medici courses are the usual suggestion, confirmed by availability. Back in the city by late afternoon for the Trastevere evening.
- Day 3
Rome, properly
A full non-golf day: Colosseum and Forum with an early entry, lunch near the Campo, then either the Borghese gallery or simply the streets. Non-golfers will have claimed this itinerary for all five days, which is rather the point of Rome.
- Day 4
Marco Simone
The round the trip is named for — the 2023 Ryder Cup course in the hills northeast of the city, its risk-reward drivable holes exactly as television promised. Clubhouse lunch with the castle above, then a farewell dinner back in town. Access subject to the club's visitor policy and verified before booking.
- Day 5
One last espresso
A final morning for the Vatican museums if booked ahead, or the Testaccio market if not, then the direct flight home to Dubai.

When to go
April to June and September to October are Rome's golf months — warm without the August furnace, when the city empties and courses slow their maintenance. Winter golf is playable on crisp days at quieter rates. August is the one month we steer groups away from on both counts.
